Part Codes
The symbols on the side of the plug heads are part codes designed to be easy to mark and easy to read in the limited space available on the plug head. The part codes make it convenient to identify and reorder REDZn ™ without having to consult your records or manuals or having to contact manufacturers to determine part numbers.

Buyers Guide
Note that not all identical motors use the same anodes. This is because installers specify the motor “trim” which includes coolers. The following are guidelines for part numbers and engine kits, but there may be some variability in both size and number of zincs required. When in doubt, the defining characteristics are NPT plug size, zinc diameter and length (measured from end of zinc to where zinc meets plug). This Guide is “under construction”. More information will be added over time. If you have questions or need help identifying a part number please contact us. Note Yanmar parts may have different wrench size, but all functional dimensions are identical.
